Well I got done with my team over the weekend and it was a 10 team league and I had the 10th pick

Here is my team in order of draft

1 Taylor, Fred RB JAC
2 Harrison, Marvin WR IND
3 McNabb, Donovan QB PHI
4 Shockey, Jeremy TE NYG
5 Jackson, Darrell WR SEA
6 Henry, Travis RB BUF
7 Staley, Duce RB PIT
8 Porter, Jerry WR OAK
9 Branch, Deion WR NE
10 Dunn, Warrick RB ATL
11 Cowboys, DST DST DAL
12 Janikowski, Sebastian K OAK
13 Johnson, Keshawn WR DAL
14 Carr, David QB HOU
15 Davis, Andre WR CLE
16 Gardner, Rod WR WAS

My first pick was a hard one to make, I really didn't have much of a choice other than Taylor...since moss and lewis were gone

I had thought that one of the two would fall to me, but no go...and had to re-evaluate and decide between harrison and holt...

I picked alot of WR's just to see if any of them will pan out this season to use as trade bait for a better RB or Defense...

Any thoughts or suggestions I would love to hear them...

It depends on your scoring format, but it looks very solid. I also have to ask how many QBs you guys start. You only have one decent QB, so if you start 2, you're in trouble there.

You'll really have to post your scoring format to give us some idea. Also show how many positions you start.

Only start one QB, one RB, two WR, one TE, one KR, one DF, and one Rover Position which could be a RB, WR, or TE

here is the scoring format sorry if it is really long

I think you have a solid team, but I'd have to play in that format to really know what to expect. I think you can assume you'll do well.

couple things I noticed. One, your runnign back situation looks very grim. taking your second one in the 6th round is way too late. Plus, Henry will start to lose reps to McGahee, who is the much better athlete. Duce Staley will get you the yards and the attempts for good points, but look for the steelers to give the ball to bettis once they are near the goal line. And Fred Taylor is a very risky pick. The guy is always hurt and is questionable for the season opener.

I love your picks at wide receiver. Harrison is the bomb and the seahawks will score alot through the air this year.

you're def hurtin in the RB dpt. woulda been a good idea to draft another defense, if in your league scoring they're able to pickup a good amt of pts. That way u can change the matchup between defenses. Say one team is playing Chiefs, while the other is playing the Niners.

Fragile Fred?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOES!

Just messin'. I agree with the RB situation, shaky, but you never know. Normally depending on the scoring format, and having the 10th pick, I sometimes try to corner the all star receiver market, taking 2 of Harrison, Owens, Moss and Holt.

I think you may have jumped the gun on Shockey. Considering his career stats, he is more of a 6-7th round pick. There aren't a lot of high scoring TE's like Heap or Gonzalez, so if you can't get one of those two, just pick up Crumpler, Franks, et al in the later rounds and get more quality WR's or RBs early in the draft.

That was my original plan, but the guy ahead of me selected Moss...and that blew up in my face...

As for selecting a RB in the 6th round...here is how I saw it. I could have selected another RB in the 4 or 5 round but the people that I selected in later rounds were the only ones left at round 4 and 5...so to me it is a horse a piece

inbetween sitting for 19 picks the rest of the starts like barlow, m. bennett and so forth were all taken by other teams...leaving me with crap to pick at the RB spot...as to why I went with WR's

I am hoping I can get a couple of hot WR's in week 1 or 2 and move them for a better RB...

but I only am required to start 1 RB so hopefully one of the 4 will have a matchup in my favor...

I am really hoping that the new rules on WR's will play into my favor and I will be sitting pretty at WR's

As for the tight end...I wanted heap but once again he go selected right before me...and I felt that the number of tight ends avalible he was the best left...I know he could be a real risk but he could also open up for a huge year...guess we will see

I went with a different approach with the D this year...only selecting one...they are so streaky it isn't even funny...I had the Chiefs D last year and for the first 9 games they were golden...then towards the end of the year they fell apart...

I guess what I am saying is it is almost better to play the matchup game week to week unless you have a N.E. Defense or Ravens Defense...

Thanks for the comments guys...I appreciate the vote of confidence...
