Constructive Critisisms are very welcome.

Thanks for all the critisisms. 🙂

I'm gonna work on the website a little bit.

[/UPDATE]

it loads really quick, and I have cable in Colorado.

First thing, though, is that the little "Launch Site" thing that puts it into a new window? Yea, really really really don't like that.

oh, and there's a pic of some blonde, and she's pretty attractive. heh.

a great start - generally a nice look

however - this is a commercial web site - the first thing the "customer" should see is contact information right up front - not buried in a menu - you should have the client's phone number, address, email posted clearly on the very first page the "customer" sees. this is a MUST.

on the picture transitions - they are to "busy" just go directly to the next image, not disolve, fade etc.. unnecessary

on the "darken pictures" that you rollover to see - these are terrible - they make your client seem like he takes pictures that are to dark! yeech.. get rid of the rollover stuff and show off his work!!

the site should be about his work, not about web site effects and programming..consider getting rid of the popup window insert as well.

these are my personal opinions - in general, i believe the site is very professional in appearance - general format is sleek and attractive - it is just that i have done/pondered a business website layout, and you have to aim the website at the customer base, present some basic information (who, what where and when) about the company right up front, and remember that most people will not "cruise" around a web site - they look at the first page or two and leave if they are not immediately captivated. also a business site is a litttle different than others.

Personally (and this is a BIG personally) I don't like those sites that have all their content in a smaller window made mostly of flash. I like html and css (in a normal sized window), but that's just me.

It sucks. What is this "Launch site" nonsense? When I go to the URL, I expect to go to the site, not a launcher that opens yet another window. If you don't realize that people don't like this, you have no business designing sites for cash.

Also, this site doesn't work in Opera.

its nice, but i normally don't like javascript pop-up windows that don't allow you to resize the browser and such. Also, the font is a bit small and dark, making it hard to read at 1280x1024. But overall, a very nice presentation 🙂 i like simplicity.

I do not like the open-site-in-non-resizable-window-with-Flash thing. Maybe I'm a bit of a purist, but I like plain old (X)HTML with some nice CSS for the rollovers, and limited Javascript only if absolutely necessary.

I agree with everyone else - get rid of the popup for the main website. Its annoying. Also the page doesn't work in Phoenix/Mozilla.

I like it, works fine for me, looks very nice. Just curious - how did you do the mouse over in the main part of the site, for the menu on top? Very cool effect... lemme in on it, if you don't mind? 🙂
