• We’re currently investigating an issue related to the forum theme and styling that is impacting page layout and visual formatting. The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. We’ll post an update once the fix has been deployed. Thanks for your patience while we get this sorted.

Please fix the forums, bring back the previous default style.

You can't select what page of a thread to go to from the subforum page? It just dumps you somewhere in the middle of a 28 page thread? What the heck?

Some improvements (NOT) ... This site now looks horrendous and it loads slower than a snail ... This has got to be fixed and give us back themes that look better, not this crap washed out look.

Unless I missed it somewhere, it'll be nice to have a setting again to adjust the amount of posts and threads view able per page. I miss being able to see 75 threads on a single page.

Who chose the ultra-thin and lightly colored font and using light orange on bright white as the unread thread titles? As was said before, darned near unreadable and if this is an attempt at getting people to abandon this site, it may work more than a little bit.

This is just horrid.

Yes even in dark mode, the forum looks yucky now.

Can't even hide the sidebar on the right.

Yes you can. You can collapse the left sidebar too.
Right: there's a triple column right next to the blue "reply" button at the very top
Left: there's a triple line/column to the left of the Anandtech logo.

I am blind now so hope this goes to the right place .. things sure are a lot of white !!!

This is my problem. My eyes are not the best anymore, and the text in the posts themselves prove a bit hard to read. There's too much white - not enough contrast

Basically, that's my problem, too. Font too light on a very bright background.

Just noticed the thread title pages have suddenly changed to a heavier font, improving readability. Unfortunately, within threads, same old crappy thin, light font on bright pages.

Now you're also forced to the first page of a thread whenever you open it. These forums are nearly unreadable now. I stopped lurking and have been loving being somewhat a part of the community the past couple of years, but it just feels like a chore to read threads now.

Huh, I just clicked on what I have circled in red , and it did away with all that wasted space on the left side.

That makes things much better for me.

Why are there no moderator responses, at least saying they are aware of the issue and considering what to do or something?

Hi there!

We've been collecting feedback since the release and adjusting the forums based on that feedback. Some of these changes will take time to implement and we're still working through some of the teething that comes with new software installs.

Thanks for replying. I'n hoping something rather drastic is coming - I hadn't realized the forum software was changed.

The "old AT theme" is always the #1 complaint/request each time an upgrade occurs. Why would you not include that as part of the rollout? How is it that gets bungled at every rollout?

Wasn't the previous rollout the big switch over to using Xenforo? Any vBulletin themes from before that weren't a reasonable option. But this update should have been one hell of a lot smoother.

I will just repeat what someone else said above, the site is borderline unusable for me if I cannot jump to the last page of a thread to follow the conversation right from the forum listing. Going to page 1 and then having to jump is something I don't have to do on any other forum I've visited in the past 5 years or more at least.
