Please fix the code feature

Please, please, please fix the code feature so we can post properly formatted code blocks. The programming forum is very frustrating to use when people post large blocks of code with this broken feature. All we really need is a quote-style tag that gives fixed-width fonts and respects white space.

Every time the attach code feature has been attempted to be fixed, additional features have been broken.

At this point,we have learned to live with it unless the switch to vB; the resulting damage from FT is to great of a risk

IIRC that 'feature' has never really ever worked properly. At one point it would still parse emoticons, without the ability to turn it off. Then I think Fusecrap was upgraded and we lost ALL whitespace but fixed the emoticon problem 🙁
