please explain the ending to the movie: rigor mortis [spoiler alert]

what's with the ending? esp the epilogue? i thought he was moving back to the building as a spirit (taoist mentioned earlier about coming back later as a tenant and just building a good
relationship with his flatmates in the meantime ) then he committed suicide, so i take it that he was successful in the beginning...

so then what happened to yau's family? how come in the epilogue the son came to claim his body? (i thought they were dead from the dinner table white iris/blood scene)

what's with the twin sister wraiths? did the one who stab the perv, in her fervor, stabbed herself in the chest too?

watched it a second time @0.8x and still confused
