I have never cared for Windows XP before so i have absolutly no clue about it. I am just wondering what was that thing about being limited to how many times you install the program?
Search the forums...this has been talked about to no end.
Basically, when you activate it, you can't install it again for 120 days without telling MS why you need to reinstall so they can reset your activiation.
You are referring to the activation procedure. Yeah . . . that has limits. But! You do not have to activate it for 30 days. I just finished my 4th installation of XP Pro (finally got it right!) And I will play with it and make sure it is solid before "activating." In the meantimes, it runs perfectly - for 30 days. And . . . each installation starts a new 30 day period!
