Please don't laugh.. E-machine lappy's any good?

Just curious, was looking at a couple at BB. The widescreen looks pretty sweet. Has anyone heard if they are any good?

I don't think I'll ever buy another eMachine thanks to the experience I had with one of their desktops... A transistor simply caught on fire on the motherboard. Thats not an issue that would be isolated to their desktops either....

eMachines quality has definately improved over the years. Before I would never ever recommend them at all. But they've been getting better...
