Just got home from my 8 day drug detox,been clean of everything since November 2nd,first day was horrible because i just miss the doctor and wasn't gonna be able to see the doctor till the next day, i went over 40 hours of withdrawing but before they gave me my detox meds (suboxin)they gave me 2 shots of ativan 4mg throughout the night so i could literally get knocked out and go to bed till the doctor was coming tomorrow.

Now i get to spend the weekend at home then its a rehab/treatment center i go, where ill be for the next 30 days (no laptops but atleast i get a tv in the living room of my sober house (an hour away from my house in palm beach county.My roommate is paying for all my treatment and sending me to a resort type rehab and not some average standard rehab.Its $1500 per day but he just wants me to get clean and has the extra money to help his best friend out with. Hes even cleaned up and took the bongs out of the living room and put away, and he wont smoke infront of me.

May this time be the last time you ever need rehab. Good luck staying clean this time. Best decision you'll have ever made. And you owe your roommate big time if what you say about him paying is true.

Detox from what? I probably missed it from one of your threads. They usually degenerate into a bunch of bullshit pretty quickly. Anyway, good luck.

Opiates was my DOC, and yes his parents died when he was a kid and left him a fortune. thats chump change for him

oops.. I thought he was referring to the 8 day drug detox.

No way in hell I would give a drug addict 45 grand to go to some resort, no matter who they were. I'd be more than happy to lock them in my bedroom for 30 days and give them free food and water.

How was I a prick to you? How about you ask him for $500, and you get to keep $250 and you paypal me the other $250. We both win. Also, your friend is loaded so he wont even care.
