I find it odd that CyberPowerPC charges more for the R9 290 than the GTX 970


I do NOT want to build my own PC. I'd rather have someone who knows what their doing to put it together.



I might go local and see if there is a shop or two that can beat this price.
 
I went to NewEgg and priced out this PC and I came up with a total price on NewEgg of $1225

The custom build is roughly $1550

That's $300

I didn't think it would be that much but it looks like the custom build is charging a premium for the R9 290, SSD drive

Crud.....maybe I should build?! I have to admit I'm a little tentative to build....haven't built a PC in 8+ years.

Why are you hesitant to build again?

As far as I'm concerned, the only time I would consider a pre-built would be a base PC for simple use, otherwise building your own is the way to go.

Costco custom build...with tax/S&H.....$1664

New Egg.....w/S&H.....$1220


$420 (DAMN near piece for piece too)

Yea......I'm not THAT hesitant to build
