Anyway let me know what you think.

edit. i'm plan from buying from this site : www.Ncix.com

I would suggest you get the Asus P4B533-V motherboard if you want a P4 2.4B CPU. Do you plan on overclocking? If not, then there isn't much point in getting PC3200 RAM. If you are, then you might think about getting a 2.26B since it may OC higher and with its lower multiplier you'll get a higher memory bandwidth at the same speed.

Might as well since you won't be able to actually run the RAM at DDR400 (PC3200). Only reason to get PC3200 is that you'll be ready if you decide to OC at some point.

[EDIT: I just noticed that you changed your motherboard, while VIA is fine for the AMD platform, I really wouldn't recommend it for the P4 since its not 'officially' licensed from Intel. You should either get a board based on the Intel i845G/PE chipset or at least get a good SiS board (P4S533, for instance). ]

It looks like a pretty good system to me. You may want to opt for some CAS2 PC2700 memory, as the performance benefits are somewhat tangible, and it will insure that the memory is of higher quality. Good choice on the PSU, many people opt for low budget PSUs. This can seriously affect the stability of the system.

System looks very nice now (and its just begging you to OC it, too 😀). One thing, though, you didn't mention what HDD you'll be using.
