Please Critique my final build..

Video Card:Asus x800xl
PSU:Fortron Blue Storm 500W
Heatsink:XP-90
CPU fan:Panaflo 92MM
Thermal:arctic silver 5
Ram:OCZ Premier dual channel
Case:Antec SLK2650

All in all after tax and shipping comes out to $1570(my budget is $1600). Thanks for any input, and one last thing, how many fans will I be able to put int he SLK2650 case and will the PSU/mobo fit well?

I already have a monitor/hard drive/monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers.

This will be a gaming rig, I am not planning to OC.

dont get x800xl from asus see how the ram type is ddr which means it doesnt oc as well. not sure what good ocing ram is but check it out. also check out some other cases P-180 maybe.

Ahh I should specificed I am not OCing , if that is the case, then Asus is the way to go? Also a P180 will kill my budget .

I was just trying to prevent you from having 2 PSU's since you said you were getting the Fortron 500w.

Ya I know, I can always stick the extra PSU in my other older computer. It has a 200W I can replace. But is there anything wrong with the SLK2650?

Its Canadian...which is $1200 American total. Prices are also cheaper in America . So ya, I can't use newegg.

I just put one together using the SLK1650 and it was OK to use. It was on sale @ Fry's so I used it. I also don't like doors on the front as I feel I'll break them off. You may just want to get a couple extra 80mm fans for the front and side.

Mine is 2650, not 1650 . Unless you meant they are similar.

Your CPU at newegg.com is $100 cheaper. Also compare other items before you pay.
as said you can put the spec you wrote cheaper at other website. newegg.com, ewiz.co,
tigerdirect.com, and mwave.com
also if I was you I look at the review of intel dual core 840 D by annadtech. You will be suprised. AMD is way off benchmark chart. an intel D 830 (3 GHZ) cost only $345 and 820 D at $235. But performance unmatched by AMD 64 FX55. Spend less and get more w/ intels dual core.
But if you are an AMD user, then check the website above and pay less for the system you are putting together.

Oh sorry i missed that. But I checked the us $ price of cnix.com and it is still $50 american dollar more at where u buying. and thats just for the processor. I thought newegg shipps to canada and some items are free shipping. dont qote me but ithink I have seen it in one or 2 of the sites I posted for u

if your not overclocking why are you getting the dfi(an overclocking board) and the xp-90 with the panaflo(a good overclocking heatsink)

doesnt matter if ur not ocing you want to be ready why would i get a venice core in a shuttle? just in case i decide to oc or my sell value will be higher get the ati plus for and you can get one for cheaper. another thing its dual dvi meaning your gonna have to plug in a connector if you had a crt (well for most).
