Evening gents:

220 plus 35 shipping
Since this is Celeron processor what is the socket type
on this motherboard? In other words what is the fastest
cpu you can slap in this mother?

Knock yourself out :D

It's surely a flipchip design. It's a crappy PC but I'd bet you could get a P3 running if you brought everything else up to speed like the memory. 2 open pci slots? There are better values than this. Don't buy it.

A warm deal for a Mom-and-Pop type PC.

Not as warm as the Comp-Geeks deal a month ago. But not bad either, IMO.

Fastest CPU? Unsure.

If it supports FC-PGA, it probably supports a 100MHz bus. Depending on the bios support, you'd be able to upgrade to a 9xxMHz Celeron, or a P3 no problem.

i'm pretty sure compgeeks had this exact same rig for sale, and on their other comments section, it said supports a 600mhz celeron max, so i dunno about adding a p3 or faster cpu.

Pardon my ignorance but I am not familiar with
the term flipchip design
I know all about slot and socket types but they
don't seem to give any information related to that.
Thanks
