this goddamn movie i have watched about 3 times (reluctantly), but still not found a single clue why people saying that it is romantic.
today i came to a friend house, and thanks to her kindness, i was forced to watch it once again while waiting... and still, ya know, clueless....
pls someone explain to me wat the big deal about this movie was

I don't think it's the kind of movie that's going to grow on you. You can stop watching now, if you'd like.

to me this movie is not romantic at all. it's a sad sad movie.

it's showing how people are treated like animals when they don't have a lot of money. and how their lives are valued a lot less compared to the others that do have money.

Why was it good? Cause all the girls thought Leo was hot and started the idea that the movie was good. Of course all the prepubescent(sp?) boys who watched it saw bewbies for the first time and started screaming it's a good movie! And thus perpetuated(sp?) the idea that Titanic was a good movie. That's what I think IMO.
