Hi AT,

It's father's day on Sunday so the tech bug is biting again and it's got its sights on this bundle:

http://www.microcenter.com/product/446006/Transformer_Pad_TF103C-A2_-_Black

highlights:

WXGA IPS HD 10.1" 1280x800 Display
Intel Bay Trail-T Z3745 1.33GHz Quad-Core CPU
1GB RAM & 16GB Storage
Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS
MicroSD expandable to 64GB
dockable keyboard

I already have a Nexus 7 2012 and a first gen iPad, but the former still feels small for video and the latter is quite slow comparatively. I really should be able to get by with my current stable of devices but this price ($179.99) is really getting difficult to ignore.

HALP!

I'll probably use it to watch HBO GO, Netflix, read and surf while in bed instead of using my phone or the Nexus 7.

Keep in mind I don't really have a need since I have an OPO and a Nexus 7. It would just be nicer to use this device instead of those I think.

I guess my budget is <=$200.

If you don't need it now, and your current devices at fine, I would just save up for something nicer such as an iPad Air 2, or Samsung Galaxy tab S/or Pro. The specs of these will last way longer than a bayrail Windows tablet/keyboard with that resolution.

You have a Nexus 7, so ultimately you're paying ~$180 for a couple more inches of viewing space.

Don't do it! Think of all the hungry African kids you could feed if you donated the money instead. Won't you think of the children?
