I would think they would need to be connected on the top to be unlocked. I hear Nforce2 boards can unlock a cpu even if its lasercut.

So I guess it's unlocked then - do hope so, cause I don't want to have to fuss with the 8045 more than I need to. It's a good performer though.Do they unlock the Tbred?? Yes and no, it really depends on the BIOS and NOT THE CHIP. The L1 bridges on ALL the Tbred CPUs are not cut and it allows for multiplier adjustment. That incldues the Tbred B and A.
