Please comment on this computer I ordered for my friend

I would like to know what you guys think about this computer:

ASUS V7700
256MB PC266/PC2100 DDR RAM major
Viper PowerSupply 300W ATX
AMD Thunderbird 1.2GHz 266MHz Socket A
IBM Deskstar 60GXP 40GB
Normal el-cheapo cooler

Total: 713$

I live in Switzerland, so the price actually doesn't matter. Well my friend doesn't want to spend too much money, and he already has a AMD K6-3 400, and he just wanted to upgrade to a more recent machine. He'll keep the CD-ROM, LS-120 and his ATX Case.

What are his main uses for the computer?

He plays Games like NHL 2001 and other games, but mainly EA Sports Games, I think that's a nice rig for him
