Please comment on my first computer build

Hello all, this is my first try on building my own computer. I'm trying to get a good m-atx machine for gaming, but not too high priced. I go for a mobo that can handle more than I put in, i.e. it has FSB 800, but i only use 533 for the CPU, and hence PC2700 for the RAM. This way I figured any future upgrade would be easier, but then the mobo isn' hte most expensive part of a setup ;-)

SETUP:
===================================
Mobo: Intel mATX 848P LAN Millersburg BOX
CPU: Intel P4 2,8GHz 533/512K S478 BOXED
RAM: 2x512MB KINGSTON PC2700 DDR CL2.5
Graphic: Asus FX5700 128MB TV-OUT DVI

HDD: SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200,7 120GB U100 8MB
CD/DVD: SAMSUNG. COMBO 52X32X52+16X IDE BULK
FDD: SAMSUNG. FLOPPY 3.5¨ 1.44MB

Monitor: Philips TFT 17¨ 170S4FG Grey TCO03
Speaker: Logitech Speaker X-220 2.1 32W RMS
Desktop: Logitech Cordless Desktop Express

I figured the 848P chipset had most bang for bucks, and also I could only find m-atx boards with the 865G (realy wanting 865P), which has the integrated graphics I won't use because of the graphics card.

Graphics card is a bit af a buy-down, I initially opted for the Asus ATI Radeon 9600xt 128MB TV-Out / DVI / Video-In.

Comments are welcome!

y get the intel for a gaming system? the athlon 64's are much better for it for the same price. if i were u, like everyone else in the forum, i'd get an athlon 64 2800+ and a radeon 9800 pro. the radeon 9600xt is definitely not worth getting since the 9800 pro is far stronger for a lil bit $ increase. since this is ur 1st post and first build, i'm assuming that you are fairly new in hardware stuff (no offense). u will find much better performance from the athlon 64 and the 9800 pro. the only extra cost is about $40-50 from getting the 9800 pro, wich is $200.

Hey, even if you're set on getting a P4, why in the world would you want to get a 533 2.8B? The 800 (quad-pumped, of course) 2.8C is roughly the same price, and has hyperthreading, along with much better overclockability. Oh, and PC3200 isn't any more expensive than PC2700 these days. You're going to save yourself ~$40 by getting an older processor, coupled with a 2 generation-old chipset, and ram that's too slow to use with a new generation processor.
