My two grips with these forums.

1. There only needs to be a few threads(three tops) dedicated to the financial state of Intel, AMD, and Nvidia. Almost every single thread gets dragged into pages and pages of financial discussion. I honestly think there's certain people posting now who have financial interest in the either the success or failure with certain companies and they are hell bent on steering each and every single technical thread into their agenda of convincing how either a certain company will be the most amazing market leader for years to come or another company will be BR. Does this really need to be so prevalent in a hardware forum?

2. I know people get fired up over the Intel vs AMD vs Nvidia debate and there are those who lose their cool too early gets personal and get carded with a vacation. They are annoying and they rightfully deserve it. But it's also come to my attention that you have some really good professional trolls here. When certain individuals spends the majority of their post trying to convince that Company X's produce is rubbish, they are here baiting the low hanging fruits into stupidity. Usually this is a master troll job done via leaving a single condescending remark attacking a certain brand and just waiting for the foolish backlash to trash the rest of the thread.

Honestly, I hardly ever post in these two sections due to much of what you mentioned in #2. There are several posters that just ruin them for me.

I am not going so far as to accuse people of people "professional" trolls, but there are definitely some argumentative people that have a lot of time on their hands.

#1 can be an issue, because I think people are trying to start a thread that is on topic, which gets derailed far too often, and those that don't get closed for being a "duplicate" thread.

So, with a few exceptions, I have resigned myself to just ignoring these sections altogether, and you may want to do the same. It's not like this is a tech forum .... oh ...... wait ....... yeah.
