Hm, I'm about to build one myself, and yours is pretty similiar - same RAM and processor at least. If I were you, I'd go for a cheaper case, like the Coolermaster here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16811119068

Also, that's probably overkill on the PSU ($150). I don't know what you're going to do with it, but I'd bump up the video card (if you're into gaming) and cut back on the case and PSU. You may also want a CPU cooler if you're going to overclock. Also, you might need a CD/DVD drive. 🙂 I almost forgot that one myself.

i already have a cd/dvd ... not really into gaming that much mostly for converting video and downloading large files and alot of office work.... gonna get the syncth infinity for the cpu cooler and I really want a full size case... i always hate being cramped... but thanks for the help... can anyone else lend a hand also....

The quality of the PSU is more important than the raw power rating; that's just a number that means nothing without the conditions behind it (peak/fulltime power? at what temperature? on which rails?)

I think the best way is to look for a brand with a good reputation (I would say Fortron, Enermax, PC Power and Cooling for starters) and then go for a midrange PSU since your system won't really be all that power-hungry. Something around 430W would be fine unless it was less than about 50 bucks and from some offbrand.

thanks for the reply so i guess im off to order the stuff i got my infinity heat sink and everything else looks good ill give it one more hour to midnight...
