You could definitely find a cheaper motherboard, like seriously. Right now you're ready to pay 370$ on what should be about 200$. Also, get some RAM with sinks on them, only cost you another 20-30$ and if you find a cheaper motherboard which I know you can, easily do-able. Would do an HD4870 rather than the GTX+ but that's me. Case is nice and all but I'd never pay over 100$ for a case unless it was seriously awesome, and as much love as I have for the Antec 1200 it ain't worth that. I've had a lot of problems with Creative sound cards so I don't recommend any of their products.

ExcaliburMM thank you very much your reply, that is exactly what i needed, someone to tell what they think is wrong with the setup.

What is the opinion of this board
http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16813131359]ASUS P6T LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail $249 Is something even cheaper available but is still good??

When you say you would rather do HD4870 do you mean something like this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16814121291]ASUS EAH4870 DK/HTDI/1GD5 Radeon HD 4870 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Retail ??

What do you mean by sink on ram? Also i am kind of lost on what cheaper case i can get that will still work well both in having the room and being big enough to easily work inside. Again thank you for reply and to anyone else that might reply.

the 4870 1gb can be found for $199. that'll be a much better purchase than the 9800gtx+

that sound card + speaker combo just doesn't match at all.
the x-fi is for those with nice speakers, your logitechs are a 2/10 at best... consider dropping the x-fi and using onboard sound or getting much nicer speakers (around $200-300 or so)

Thank you, will check some other place to see if i can find it for better price. Also thank you for advice on sound card/speakers. For now will drop sound card and will get one when i am ready to buy more expensive speakers.

2x HD4830 is even better bang for the buck.

Change the PSU. Corsair TX650 or HX620, Silverstone ST60F.

I agree with the above: Get a cheaper motherboard, better video card, and a better PSU like the Corsair 650W.

you don't need a 650W power supply but if you want one, this Corsair is a decent deal:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817139005

$80 after a $20 MIR with free shipping

That Antec you listed is decent but this Corsair is better and cheaper. I think you could do fine with a 550W model like this one:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16817139004

or even the 450W model. Do you play a lot of videogames? Because the cards that these guys are recommending are for that. People really into videogames.

the 4870 is faster than the gtx260 in many cases and in some, can even beat the gtx280; the gtx260 will never even get close to the gtx280.
get the 4870

Thanks to everyone suggestion about the videocard and the motherboard. I am learning a good lesson, cheaper sometimes works better than more expensive stuff and it's better on my wallet also :)
