Playtest the X-Box!

You most likely have to sign an NDA. I hope they don't, cause I want to know all about it. 🙂
 
I signed up for this a few days ago. I'm in Vancouver - maybe they'll forget there's an international border inbetween me and them...

NaughtyMaximus, I think you actually have to go to some kinda place to try it out (in seattle). Who knows. Couldn't hurt though [keep us posted]. 😉
 
Been signed up as a MS Playtester for about 18-24 months (I think) and have done a few Playtest sessions. Yes, they make you sign NDAs, which covers everything from what game you played, features in the game, what you did during the session, etc. All Playtest sessions are held in their Playtest Lab at MS's Redmond campus.

They got back to me really quickly after I signed up. They'll either call or e-mail you when they have sessions that fit your survey answers. You get a free MS game out of it, so it's cool.
 
FatAlbo, I know you signed an NDA... but one question. Assuming you got the chance to playtest the X-box... was it impressive?
 
They called me mid-December for a session, and I asked them if it would be an X-Box session. They said they weren't going to start those "for a while." They're fairly picky about who they choose to participate in a specific Playtest.
