Playstation2 s-video question

Trying to connect a PS2 to a 19" RCA TV with an S-Video cable but cannot get any signal at all. I know the cable and the PS2 are both fine because I've just moved them from another TV where they worked with no probs. On the this TV tho it just can't get a signal from the PS2 and I have no idea why 🙁

Any ideas?

Did you verify that you were on the right setting for "Video Input?"

Perhaps your TV has a menu choice for "Which connector represents `Video 3'"

If you're going through an AV amp ... some of those require you to spec a connector/source association.

Some TVs only have one or two logical video inputs ... if something is plugged into one of the connectors, the other connector becomes inoperative. Try it with only the PS2 plugged in.

Good Luck
