Well I have followed the instructions to the letter and yet the Playstation Network downloader will not detect my PSP. Why this is I'm not sure though. Windows recognizes it when I plug it in as a PSP and as a removable drive because of the memory stick. Yet when I plug it in via USB, set it to USB and select a demo to download it opens up the save/open dialog I select to open it with the downloader, the downloader starts and then says it can't find the PSP. Any ideas? Additional details follow:
PSP Software version: 4.01 (latest)
OS: Windows XP SP2
Browser: Firefox 3 (have tried using IE 7 as well, same thing happens)
