This is with a 9001 series Playstation (pre-PSone):
With an ASCIIware controller, as long as only 1 memory card is in (not 2 at the same time) I can browse thru the menus (controller works).
With the original PSX controller, with even 1 card in, the controller is frozen, but as I pull the card out - it works normally.
The games play fine, controllers work fine in gaming, etc... its only the memory cards that give me problems. What seems to be the problem?
I am using used but genuine Sony Playstation 15 block cards that I got off of eBay. I originally bought only one, but ran into problems and the seller sent me 2 replacements free of charge. I want to figure out if its the machine that's busted before talking to him again.
