Playstation plus

Not looking for a is it worth it discussion, if I have one PS3 with multiple user accounts do they all get to access and download stuff that is free for subscribers (demo's, avatar stuff, games, ect).

I have PS Plus and I dont see it on the other users of my machine. It only sticks with one user. PS Plus is still worth it in my opinion.

Are you sure about this? Because according to this link, PS Blog, other users should be able to use the content. See the second bullet point in the list near the bottom of the post.

I have Plus, but I'm at work right now and can't check.

Same here, it seems like if I buy playstation plus, it makes me buy more stuff that i possibly wont even play.

Well, the free games they have been offering have been great (WipEout, Shatter, Zen Pinball, etc...). The main problem for me is that I already purchased all these games previously. So outside of the free Minis, I haven't really benefited from the free content. The discounts on game purchases have been nice, but I don't think I've gotten my money's worth yet.

Probably the feature I like the most is the auto-download feature. I have my PS3 set to turn on at like 3AM and check for updates. It will turn itself on and then download any updates for games I've been playing. It also checks for firmware updates and if it finds one will download it, but not install. So now I never have to wait for downloads other than for new purchases. It's a nice feature, but IMO it's a feature that should really be available to everyone anyway.

So far I still haven't really seen the value. If I didn't already own all the free games my perspective might be different. I bought a year to give it a shot and still have a little while to go. I'll re-evaluate when it runs out.

I think the value comes from the free games, online beta exclusives, along with the 1 hour game trials.

DC Universe is a game I would have never bought because I did not like WOW that much but after playing the beta for 15 plus hours, I have to come to really like the game. Now I might purchase it but just the playtime itself was worth 50 bucks for the year. I buy games like Unleashed 2 and get far less play out of them.

Borderland 1 hour trial saved me 30 fom buying the game. It did not come with a demo from what I can remember so being able to play games that I would not rent initially gives me the oppourtunity to test the game out for a possible purchase.

The auto update feature is clutch, although I agree with other posts that it should be included for free with playstation online. I love not having to wait for the patches to be installed.

With PS Plus I have so many free games and betas to try I really don't have time to play everything. I have to pick and choose. Before all the free games and I would just download the standard demos from the store and pulse.

One note though, Qore is a major disappointment. I thought for 25/year(without plus) it would have brought more to the table. Veronica Belmont is a great host but I think they need to really bring something to the table as far as content.

I feel bad for Thraxen because of him buying the game previously. I rarely buy game online unless they get amazing reviews such as fat princess and costume quest. I am debating whether I should buy Classic Xmen Arcade game. Those games I wish Plus would have a discount for.
