Playstation plus worth it?

If you fully use it, yeah. You can easily use more than the $50 fee with the free games and discounts. You just have to actually want to play those games that come free or get special PS+ only sales.

Do you own a 360? I am just wondering, because if it is your only gaming system and you plan on buying a lot of stuff, it could be worth it. I own a 360 and do most of my gaming on it, so it isn't worth it for me.

Signed up for Plus about a month after it came out. So far, I have gotten around 2 dozen free games of differing quality, some decent price cuts on games that I had to pay for, online cloud save support, and it's nice that it downloads stuff and automatically updates the firmware while I'm at work during the day.

I would totally pay for it over again, and will in several months when my initial 15 months are up.

Also have XBL Gold since almost the beginning, and the only things I've ever gotten free from them were 2 crappy Doritos games and Undertow when XBL was down in 2008.

Yeah i have a 360 and a Gaming PC. Ive had Plus for about 6 months and my sub just ended, just wanted to see some opinions on if it was worth it or not. I liked it a lot but theres so many games that i don't even really play them much and i don't like the fact that you don't really own any of so im not sure.

If they added something like cross game chat, I would be interested. But then again, almost all the gaming I do on the PS3 is single player anyways, so I doubt I would even get it for cross chat. Where does your PS3 rank, in the way of play time? If you play your PC and 360 way more, than I definately wouldn't waste the money. Most the games they give away aren't the type of games that people are going crazy about playing.

Well I'm usually On my Pc so that gets the most playing time. I just picked up both the dead rising 2 cases that were on sale. But even the 360 I usually use it for Netflix lately. I try to get into my ps3 as I bought a few games on black Friday like killzone 2, infamous, demons souls, mag and god of war collection but I have not even gotten close to beating anyone of those except for demons souls. Usually it's used for netflix

Playstation Plus, I honestly dont think its worth it. I remember all the fan boys telling me that it will and always remain free. I was always on XBL. I thought it was just better. Everything from messages, to finding friends, to just the expeirence itself was way better. I have a hard time managing around the PS3 menu's. Anyway's, looks where it is now, down for almost a month, if they started paying for subscribtion, maybe they would of had a better network. Plus, xbox is microsoft, and networking and computer related stuff I would give dibs to them a notch.

And guess what, PSN with online gaming and Netflix support is still free, the fanboys were right. Unlike Xbox Live Silver, the free version of PSN has not been crippled in any way.

Maybe, but if Sony employees were involved in the theft then probably not.

PSN is still free. PSN Plus is free games, discounts on games, online cloud storage for your game saves, and a few other things.
