Playstation audio connection to PC

What is the best way to connect my PS2 'audio' output to my PC? I have connected the video output directly to my 24" fp using the component video input.

One way I can think of is through the mic input in my mobo. Any other other suggestions? I am not planning on spending big bucks on this.

it depends on your sound card and sound system, i spose. the above should work...i used to use the card from my pc but then i realized i could free up some space on my sound card by just putting the sound directly into my speaker controller.
made it easy to control the sound as well.
