...they would get rid of the directional pad and instead use your motion of moving the whole controller about to move the game.

What the heck? I think it would be hard to make that not suck.

Nintendo seems to be kind of gimmicky.... reminds me of Sega near the end. Maybe they're trying to compensate for their kiddy reputation? Sad really, they have some of the best games out there (just like Sega did years ago).

FYI this technology isn't new, it's been out for a few years already. I have an MS gamepad (I think it's called "Freestyle") that has that buit in. It's a fun novelty feature, but its difficult to control with the same accuracy and speed as an analog joypad/stick

Nintendo is also supposed to announce something soon. They are possibly coming out with a new way of playing games with their next new console. The rumor is that the controllers will be using Gyro's for force feedback and also for sensing motion within the controller, they would get rid of the directional pad and instead use your motion of moving the whole controller about to move the game.

that would help SO many girls who play. they always lean with the controller. its hilarious

MIKE
