Sorry man ... miss type it is 813USD or 425 pound. Sorry to any one that got excited by the UK price ;( ... sony hates you the most and they also made sure you can't import one because if you try it will considered contraband and you maybe fined.

Sony has plans to perload the Linux OS in the hard drive Q1 07... You just need to click on putton to install it and i can grantee you it will have at least 40% + penetration rate. You sound like the same people that thought only 1% of User will pay for XBOX live. Well I will post up some pic of the OS by the end of the month if it is released like Sony promised by November. I will get my shipped Japanese PS3 20GB model on Monday or Tuesday which costed me $430USD + $50USD and maybe taxes ;(.

I'm well aware that Linux will come on the HDD and what it can do. I just personally don't see Joe Consumer who bought their PS3 to play Madden or Final Fantasy Eleventeen making much use of it.
