PSX2 has yet to excite me. It's twice as expensive as a DC, not many games, especially not many good ones yet. I have a DVD player already, so it has just about struck out with me until Metal Gear 2 and FF10 anyway.

There's nothing too impressive about the PSX 2. The real only difference is that the PSX 2 plays DVD's, other then that the systems are equal. However, it's in the game back up. Which the PSX 2 doesn't have much of at all. They're making the same mistake Sega made with the Saturn, that was released with very few titles, but was a better machine, and released after the original PSX.

I agree. PS2 looks like Hype. Graphics are not barely any different than DC but it costs twice as much (literally) ... Not as many games and doesn't even include a modem.

Add that to the fact that you wont be able to get a PS2 and it just doesnt look good...

Between Game Cube, Ps2 and XBox, XBox is the only one I am anticipating.

The PS2 is backwards compatible with PS1 titles. It takes awhile for developers to learn how to optimize graphics on a console so the games usually improve.
