I'm battling with my HTPC's video inputs and my PS2. For some reason, everything I try comes out blurry. I have enough video input mechanisms to kill a horse. The one thing I havn't yet tried is the Firewire. Does it actually carry the video signal, or is it just there for random connectivity? If it carries video, I am *SO* set, I just have to grab a firewire card from another box (My G3 minitower has one that's ripe for the picking)

I don't think it does.

Honestly, I have no freaking clue what that port is used for!

The firewire port on PS2s is used for interconnecting 2 PS2s for multiplayer gaming in games that need the entire processing power of a PS2 to be played. At least, that's my understanding of it ;)
