Playstation 2 5.4 Inch LCD Screen listed in Sunday's Southern California CompUSA Ad as $49.99, rang up for $39.99. It's by Hot Gear, some unknown accessory company probably made in China. I got one, plugged it in, and the quality's decent; not exceptional. They have a much better 5.6 version for $119.

But,,, for $39.99 it's cool for trips and bringing your PS2 to a friends house or something. You can watch DVD's and so forth too. Sign up for the $7.50 two year extended warranty plan or product replacement plan (hint hint).

ehhh, what kinda inputs for it??? or does it directly connect to the ps2 and you cant use it for other than ps2 purposes

Yes, it does have a SVHS connection. You might not want to use this 5.4 screen with your computer. The built-in speakers are really loud for the size.

at first i saw it as a great investment since ive always wanted an LCD for my ps2. it looks pretty tite (judging by the IGN pictures) but after reading the review, im not so sure about actually buying it anymore. who knows, i guess some light driving games and street fighter would be fine on it... such as IGN had stated, but rpgs would most likely give me a headache (great, the format of games which i most enjoy). i might just buy it and test it out for awhile... if i do, ill write up a quick review for you guys, but dont count on it. I would still consider this a hot deal though, because for the price, its not too bad.
