Playing Xbox on my monitor

I want to be able to plug my Xbox into my computer, and play using my monitor. I've been told that all I need is a VIVO capable Video Card, but mine isn't. Buying a new video card is not an option. What other hardware will allow me to do this? A TV Tuner? Video Capture Card? If so, could you suggest a particular model or brand? I want the image to be as clear and crisp as possible. Price range is pretty flexible, but around AU$100 is fine.

I might be mistaken, but I think you can get an HD kit for the Xbox with a DVI port... then you could use a DVI to VGA adapter that most video cards come with now and plug it right into your monitor. Not sure if that'll work or if that's what you want. Do you want to take screenshots and/or record yourself playing? Or just use your computer monitor for the higher res?
