There are 2 because most VCD's are 2 cd's.
Secondly, no need to burn it unless your gona play it with a VCD (or DVD) player.
Since I don't even have a TV, I just use a little program called DAEMON Tools. It's a virtual CD/DVD-rom, and reads ISO's and other iso type formats, works great, and there is no need to burn.

That's not true, windows media player will play it fine, just point it to where the DAT file is and it will play it,after all a vcd is just a MPG file.

If you are going to play it on a DVD player:

1) Burn the two ISOs to two CDs
2) Play in DVD player

If you want to play them on your computer:

1) Get ISOBuster (search google)
2) Extract all the files from the ISO to your hard drive
3) Delete all the files but the .DAT file
4) Open the DAT file in Windows Media Player (or PowerDVD, or SoftDVD, etc) and play it

Er...Nero? New Adaptec Software also will convert your mpegs to VCD format for you. It will depend on your stand alone DVD player whether or not it will play the recorded VCD, my Sony won't.
