Man of the year? Ouch.

Well, I don't recall anyone mentioning anywhere the idea that the fate of this man Trump is entwined with his name. As you know, this man has an obsession with winning. Trump is a concept in the game bridge. One of the four suits (diamonds, clubs, spades and hearts) is declared the trump suit and hands holding them can play them and win "tricks" (this is my memory of it, I have never played bridge, but I was taught the game). To "trump" is to overpower your opponent with a trump card, or more broadly, to use an inherent power to win your position. Of course, our man Trump has throughout his life tried to put himself in such positions. For instance, his role in his TV game series "The Apprentice" had him in a position to declare to the guests "you're fired!" He played his "trump" card on them.

Now, he's in a position to wield greater power, the ultimate "trump" card, being the POTUS:

Nominations
Appointments
Veto power (sometimes)
Presidential declarations
Tweets (haha)

I suppose there should be a fine balance between what you pray for, what you say, and your sense of urgency and passion in speaking out.

However.

Here's a thought. Forget about his supporters, although I can imagine some Local #1999 union members who've had a rude epiphany. Figure out a way to coordinate everyone who voted against him. Then, on January 22 and all at once, the USPS has to deliver a quadrazillion letters all at once to 1600 PA Ave:

"Dear Mr. President:
"Nobody loves you. Everybody hates you."
"[signed/not-signed]: ____________________"

I suspect that he'll be churning inwardly for days. More of the same, and we can break him to show the petty, disgusting little gnome that he is.
