I've heard this can be done, with a Battle.net emulator or something.
What's the best way, if at all, to play Starcraft on a LAN with the TCP/IP protocol?

if youre on the same local area network you should be able to just have one person host a game and everyone on the same LAN should be able to join.

But that uses IPX, and I have forever banished IPX from my computer.

BUT, I have installed FSGS, a Battle.net server emulator. The problem I have now is connecting to other servers with the game. No matter what launcher I use, FSGS Connect or Battle.net Launch Pad, Starcraft always goes to the official Battle.net server instead. WTF, how does this work?
