I've been playing quake live beta lately (every night for an hour or two), and man, its fun.

Would like to see if anyone else is still playing it, and, if so, whats your username so I can add you to my friends list? I normally play on the Dallas or Atlanta servers where my ping is around 35-40 give or take. Not as good as I used to be, thats for sure.

Recently, i was stuck and confused of which games to play , im a big fan of Multiplayer gaming.
i used to play MILLION of games online and few of'em played for 7 years :X like counter-strike , but its really enough with it ..
atm i play Quake Live and Battlefield 2 equally ..
They'r the best games ever !!!
but unfortunely i play in european servers :X france and UK , i get 90-100 ping , and its okey, like having 50 ping in quake 3 arena ... they done it right with the net coding 😀 i love id Software for getting this game breath again 😀
 
I'm playing it. My username is arkster. I totally suck at it though. I pretty much die as soon as I get in.
 
great game but two things that piss me off: shotgun is so overpowered it's not even funny. and the DM server's caps are 16, which is way too many ppl for most of the maps that are cycled.
 
thats how powerful the shotgun always was, it rewards aim🙂. only the machine gun is weak sauce...
maybe the shotguns easier to control these days. back then we had slow machines/low fps and ball mice!!
