Playing on battle.net with my Netgear 802.11b router connection issues, HELP!

I'm using a netgear 802.11b router with a netgear USB adapter. Browsing the internet and files on my network works fine. But gaming totally sucks, the connection strength is always "very good" (almost all green bars light up), but when I play games on battle.net (warcraft/starcraft) I always lag-out.


ANy ideas?


I went to netgear's website and followed the placement instructions and its not near a microwave or a bodies of water. I do have an old 900MHZ Vtech phone about 8feet away from my router but I'm pretty sure thats not it.
