Playing mp3's across a lan with PC that uses USB to ethernet adapter?

This should easily be able to be done given the specs of USB and the data rate to play a typical 128 or 192 bitrate song but I just want to verify that there'll be no problems. Anyone doing this?

Never tried that, sounds okay bandwidth wise.

If not, you can always get a 10/100 full duplex ethernet card from Linksys for I guess $15 or less...

yeah it should be ok but with usb ethernet adapter it might get skippy if your cpu gets bogged down by something else. beware!

pci card would be the best way to go, go look in FS/FT you can buy one cheap.
