Playing modern games in VM???

Hi
I would like to play some new AND old games on my PC in VMware (or similar software) but OS installed in VM doesnt see my GPU - is there some solution that would allow me to play games in VM?

Thanks

Not with any decent performance. VMWare workstation has some basic 3D support if you enable it, I thought 6.0 was supposed to be better but I haven't heard much. Parallels was talking about 3D support too but I haven't heard much from them either on it.

maybe enough (?) for certain old old PC games that don't run natively and also don't run well off WINE.

Not yet. Vmware is working on it but its not mature enough yet.

if warcraft 3 uses pixel or vertex shaders (it probably does) then from looking at wikipedia, no, because shaders aren't yet supported.

Even in VMware 6.0 your max video ram you could set was 2Mb. That pretty much limits you from any newer games.
