playing games on the new computer

The new computer (Dell) came with a bunch of extra games on it; all from Wild Tangent. I thought WT was a piece of crappy software that would steal tons of bandwidth?? Have they changed? Even with some google searching, the opinions seem to go both ways. (I'm on dial-up for a few more days) - my dial-up seems to have slowed to a crawl since my son played one of these games... coincidence? Opinions? Should I enjoy these games??

Kill Wild Tangent now.

My cousin actually used to work for that company. He said it was the worst experience of his life, and he thinks he was being punished by god for the decision.

See, the first two replies are the opinion I had of WT in the past... But, perhaps my memory is clouded simply because my kids played games and I got pretty irritated every time spybot or some other program screamed "spyware found! Wild Tangent!"
I really couldn't care less about the program reporting what games I play... what I do care about is how much bandwidth they use, and what kind of performance hit I'll take because of it.

edit: Dell's site says it's okay to have... then again, they're not going to take money from a company to install the crap (like the tons of other crap) and turn around and say it's bad.
