Playing "blank" VCDs on PC

I have a few chinese VCDs that show up blank when read on a PC (no files). If I check the properties, it says 2MB of data and if I try to copy it it says ~650MB of data is on there. I can play it on a set top DVD player just fine, but when used on PC, it reads no files so I don't have an MPEG file for Windows Media Player to open. Can someone suggust a solution (like a program) that will allow me to play it?

Keep in mind, this is a VCD (MPEG), not a DVD. Thanks.

You don't see folders when you look at teh CD in windows explorer? Usually for my VCDs I go under segment and open that dat file there to watch my movie.

Yes I have that problem also - they work fine on a VCD Player or via my DVD player but not on the PC.

It's just a certain brand - I'm in China - that I also have problems with but it tells you about the format on the cover - mentions Philips CDi. I can't find the actuall disc right now but i'll let you know when I find it.

99.9% of VCD's play without problem in windows media player - apart from the usual useless Windows error telling you that there are no "media files" available - but there when u select "show all files"........
