Just finished setting up a GTX 460 in my rig along side of a GTX 580. I put the 460 to run as a dedicated physx card. I'm only running a 1080p monitor so mind you the 580 is pretty much overkill. I do have a 3007wfp but honestly a 30 was to big for me as I was killing my eyes with it. Any how, back to what I was saying... First off I needed to install 2 different Nvidia drivers because the official drivers for the 580 do not support the 460. You just need to install the official driver for each card and you will be good to go.

so far I have tried Batmann AA and the cryostasis demo

Batman AA had 1920X1080 8Xaa and physx on high.

580 alone was 86 fps average
580 with 460 was 116 average

pretty good increase but completely unnoticed lol

Cryostasis tech demo with no aa (i just didn't bother to turn it on in the control panel)

580 alone was 68 fps
580 with 460 was 79 fps

again pretty good increase however my eyes couldn't see it due to the limiting nature of a 60hz monitor.

I definately need to get in on a nice 120 hz monitor soon so I can "use" some of these wasted frames and possibly some 3d vision ;)
