Playing an FPS with a buddy in the same room

On the opposite team is unbearable...This is how I feel most of the time...

You can stick around but omit the links to your site from your posts. When you have 25 posts you may add a signature that contains a simple link to your site. Other than that, keep it out of your discussions.

Used to have a blast playing in the same room/space back in the days of local servers and lan parties.

I think some of the most fun i had playing games growing up was playing fps's and other games in the same room with someone. Trash talking was awesome when you actually see the person lol

Haha! You guys are funny! 😛

I'll admit, these guys are getting better,

The kind words are highly appreciated, if you or anyone else is interested in this project let me know.

Ok, but in all honesty. If you're on the same team it's fine, otherwise if you get split the fun tends to go a bit downhill if you just look over at your friend's screen and vice-versa...Team Fortress 2 perfect example...

I meant better at spamming. Generally your type are not appreciated around here, but if you stick around and add to the community, none of us <should> complain.

First post spammers should be banned IMO.

I don't mind it, that's how I play with and against my son. It's fun to be able to smack talk when you're that close to each other, or warn him of enemy around the corner that just got me.

Harsh words. I don't see any reason why I wouldn't stick around.

There are obviously a few types I clearly don't care for but everyone else on the forum has been very nice and welcoming!

It "can" be fun. I think after a while though when both of you want to win it can get a little old. 😛

Multiplayer FPS was built on split screen. Goldeneye & Perfect Dark.

The only reason more games don't have this functionality is because a PS3 or Xbox isn't capable of handling engines that can do split screen that are also graphically "current gen."

I pretty much won't play any FPS multiplayer unless I'm able to do it on the couch with someone else. I'm sure I'm the minority, but I'm sure I'm not alone either.

I should have said "that" type, not "your" type. If you stick around there are no issues.

As long as you do, we <I> have no issues 😉
