Played Nintendo Wii for the first time yesterday.....

i don't see anything else groundbreaking about the other consoles. at least the wii has the cool remote

I will, however, try it again when they release a hockey game...as long as the graphics aren't as cheesy as the sports games I played last night.

3 months here and going stong. We've even started Sunday night tournaments with the neighbors on bowling. Zelda is hella-fun, Warioware is one of the most fun party games in years, and those are just launch titles.

It sounds like you went into the situation expecting to hate it and are now trying to find reasons. There's a reason the thing is still sold out everywhere.

You are trying to justfy why I didn't enjoy it? I went in expecting to hate it? I thought the whole concept of the controllers was "kinda" cool, but the fun only lasted so long.

Why not just go bowling with the neighbors?....its the shoes isn't it?....its always the shoes.

My Wii has been collecting dust for a while now. I don't think I turned it on in 2007 yet.

Nintendo doesn't care either way. The US Treasury just leased the company their own printing presses for all the money they are banking off the DS Lite and Wii.

All Sony can do is count the mounting losses per PS3 sold and watch.
