What's up guys! We made it to our second recording, YAY!

The initial support from everyone has been tremendous and very much appreciated! Our downloads for E1 clocked in at about 450 -wow (Thats just from my .mac account, not including anywhere else like itunes). I seriously was expecting to have about 40-50 Downloads max, so that was a plesant surprise. For those of you who passed the word along to friends and other forums to show support -THANK YOU!
Also, thanks to thomw's help, we will be moving the Podcast's homepage to www.playedpodcast.com shortly. The domain is registered, DNS propagated today (on the west coast atleast), but unfortunately we're going to have to wait till Episode 3 to use it. I'll be updating the page STAT! But we're excited for this, so keep an eye on that page!
With that out of the way, some technical updates! In this weeks Podcast I've added a few new features:
- Chapters! Now you can skip around the podcast if you wish.
- Pictures are also displayed now via iTunes or your iPod for each chapter. (I dont know if other mp3 player supports this (like Winamp. If so, please le me know either way.)
- MP3 format is now available for download for each episode.
- Not a technical feature but the podcast is a little short this week clocking in at 56mins.
- More music has been added through out the Podcast, mainly to seperate topics of discussion (one was created by yours truely. GO ME!)
We've also improved the sound leveling some, but it's still a little bit of an issue I think, so we're aware of this. But it's deffinitly better that E1.
This Podcast is a hobby for all 3 of us. So, running out and simply buying a $150 mic for an increase sound quality isnt always that feasible for everyone. But, we've had some generous offers from some of you guys, namely bagelcc, who has actually sent out a new headset to Dahanese (which we total appreciate, thank you!). We will work on the mic levels till they're perfectly adjusted to where we want them, but we're all pressed for time lately. I'm really hoping by the next podcast this will be resolved.
So, please help support us in getting the word out on this Podcast. Dahanese, Chris Remo, and myself are proud of our little production here, we have a ton of fun doing it, and we want people to hear us!
If you guys have questions for us and want to be heard on the show you have two options:
- Record your question in MP3 format and email them to us (preffered b/c of quality).
- Call 206-202-1801 and leave us a voice mail and it will automatically send us an MP3 of your message (Thanks Nation!). The quality isnt the best though, so be sure you speak clearly.
....so! If what you have to say is interesting enough, we'll play it on the show!
