They don't cost anything. You can get them free from the National Library Service, provided you qualify of course. There's braille magazines/books and audio books. I think most states have similar programs for the visually impaired as well.
 
That's awesome... I remember Whistler "reading" a copy in the movie Sneakers. I didn't know they actually existed! I want a copy...
 
Thing to keep in mind about braille magazines is they're relatively huge. It takes 4-5 of those sized books in the OP's link to make up one normal edition of a magazine. They come in boxes. Keep in mind that the braille versions do not include any ads or images, just the content. Braille takes up a lot of room.
