I've been getting this noticeable band along the right side of my monitor where the color is either just all green or all grey. It doesnt show up on regular DVDs played full screen or even xvid encoded clips. Ive included pictures of this with a few different HD video sources (two 1080 and one 720). It also seems to stay consistent between the different players, Ive tried quicktime, VLC, and windows media player.

Anyone know whats the deal here? Ive gone through and uninstalled all my video card drivers and video software so now Im really unsure what else could be causing this.

Does anyone else with a 30 in. have the same issue when viewing HD content full screen?

Thanks in advance!

Hey bud. I have the same exact problem with my Apple 30 inch. What it is, is the resolution on the panel is higher then the HD that it was encoded. It is normal. In laymans terms it means the full screen rez of the panel 2560x1600 is too high. If you want to full screen your HD video just lower the rez on your panel then full screen it. Don't worry though it's normal. It does the same exact thing on mine. Hope that helps.
