Play VCD with ATI AIW

I have the ATI AIW with the latest drivers, whenever I want to play vcd, it say "This application did not support play back of Video CD 2.0 discs"???? WTF.

Anyone help please.
 
Sucks don't it? You need to manually click on the *.dat file (drag and drop into WMP or the ATI file player) to play them. The ATI VCD player doesn't support mode2 VCD's (is there another kind?)
