All the addons except one at Mozilla that play YouTube video automatically don't work for Pale Moon except one, YouTube All HTML5. I had to modify the install.rdf file to make it install into Pale Moon. If you want to use this addon and enjoy HTML5 videos only for Pale Moon you can get this addon from the link below. I included the VirusTotal link so you know it's safe. ;)

To install unzip and just go to File top bar in Pale Moon and chose "Open File." Navigate to where you extracted the xpi file.

Not sure why stupid F-Secure says it's a Trojan. It's a false positive. Everything else is clear.

Yeah, I have Flash disabled in Pale Moon, but there's still around 1 in 50 videos on Youtube that don't work for me in HTML5 (the number is so low that when it happens it usually catches me off guard - lol). I usually just say "Screw it" and watch something else that works with HTML5.

I think I might switch to Firefox 28 though because of this. The mods moved my post from "Features and Suggestions" to "Linux" so now I need to find a Windows computer to prove it's a universal bug or they won't care. Bleh! Still deciding.

can you do higher then 720p HTML5 with this in pale moon?

because PM will play HTML5 without it but wont go above 720p because they don't plan on implementing something that allows it

The only option I have with HTML5 is 360p, after trying quite a few videos that are supposedly HD or 1080p. The only two options checked on youtube.com/html5 for me are HTMLVideoElement and WebM VP8 though. I prefer 360p on my laptop anyway though, and like how you can speed up and slow down videos in HTML5.

I also don't need an add-on to play or autoplay HTML5 youtube vids in 360p and 720p. What am I missing

I have the addon because I use Flash for other sites, but would like YouTube to be in HTML5. I find that the videos load instantly now and puts less strain on my CPU. I just need to find an addon that will render all flash to HTML5, but some sites aren't HTML5 rendered unfortunately.

So it switches automatically to HTML5 for youtube. Ok, that makes more sense.
